
Juan Mata
Prime Minister
Juan Mata is the Director of Sales and Business Development for Wittigs and the Prime Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court. He has been involved with the Rey Feo organization for 2 years and is involved in Hope for the Future and San Antonio Growth on the Eastside (SAGE). As a recipient of academic scholarships and aid, Juan understands the need for assistance in higher education. Juan enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, watching his daughters play sports and traveling.

Rico Riojas
Executive Minister
Rico Riojas is a realtor with Green Realty Advisors. He is the Executive Minister for Rey Feo 2020 court. Rico has been involved with the Rey Feo Foundation since 2012. He has had the pleasure of visiting hundreds of elementary schools in support of Rey Feo and considers it a priceless experience. In fact, one of Rico’s relatives is a recipient of the scholarship, which greatly helped out during a family hardship. In his free time, Rico enjoys volunteering and riding his bike.

Joe Pena
Finance Minister
Joe Pena Jr. is the Market President for Frost Corporate Banking and the Finance Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court. Joe joined the Rey Feo organization in 2016 and serves as a board member of the Daughters of Charity Services of San Antonio and Southside First Economic Development Council among other charities. Joe is a firm believer in providing educational opportunities for disadvantaged students in our community.

Ray Aguillon
Investment Minister
Ray Aguillon is the Executive Vice President of Partners Wealth Management and serves as the Investment Minister on the Rey Feo 2020 court. Ray is also the director of the Aguillon Golf Classic, an annual golf tournament which raises funds for the Texas Diabetes Institute and the President of the Pan American Gold Association. Growing up, Ray was able to attend several San Antonio schools through scholarships and is looking forward to raising awareness of the importance of education to local students.

David Solis
Night Minister
David Solis is the Regional Sales Manager of Vantage Lighting and is the Night Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court. David has spent several years volunteering as a CYO baseball coach for St. Gregory the Great and is thankful for the blessings he has received and embraces helping others. David loves being in front of a BBQ pit, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.

JR Trevino
Day Minister
The Honorable JR Trevino is the Day Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court and is the Vice President of Business Development for Treco Enterprises. He has been a member of the Rey Feo organization for several years and is involved with Family Violence Prevention Services as well as the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center. He is a champion of education and wants to do his part in eliminating all barriers for San Antonio youths pursuing an education. Currently, he loves flying and is pursuing his private pilot’s license.

George Torres
Advance Minister
George Torres is the owner of River City Home Care and the Advance Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court. He has been involved with Rey Feo scholarship program for 5 years and is also involved in the Knights of Columbus and Pastoral Council Co-chair for Holy Spirit Catholic church. George truly wants to help the community by giving back to others and creating greater opportunities for the youth so they can further their education. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife and family.

Edward Benavides
Night Minister
Edward Benavides is the Authorization Director for the Center of Healthcare Services and serves as the Night Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court. Edward has been involved with the Rey Feo organization for several years and was a recipient of the Rey Feo Scholarship. He truly believes that higher education is an important resource for San Antonio youth and wants to be able to return the opportunity that was given to him to the next generation of San Antonio youth. Edward enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with his family & friends.

Felipe Galvan
Military Minister
Felipe Galvan is this years Military Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court and a Physician Assistant at RFSA Dermatology. He is also a lifetime VFW member and a Boy Scout of America leader. He has always called the Southside of San Antonio home, even as he has moved all over the world for the military. Felipe, takes pride in being able to give back to the community so that other San Antonio youth can be offered the opportunity to achieve.

Rebecca Viagran
Community Investment Minister
The Honorable Rebecca Viagran is a Councilwoman for the City of San Antonio, District 3. She is also the Community Investment Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court. Councilwoman Viagran is a member of the VFW Post 4815 Auxiliary as well as the Friends of the San Antonio Mission Library. Councilwoman Viagran believes all children deserve to have access and opportunities to education, and providing financial resources tears down the barriers to those opportunities and access.

Dave Sims
Film Minister
Dave Sims is the Creative Director for Dave Sims Media and the Film Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court. As a filmmaker and brand storyteller he is involved in helping businesses, non-profits, and advocacy organizations such as the YMCA, Colin’s Hope, HEB and Tech Bloc build their brands and share their stories. Dave believes that it is critical for all youth to have the opportunity to get a quality education. When he’s not working in video production, you can find Dave directing his next film, traveling, or playing the Wurlitzer.

Cristina Bazaldua
Media Minister
Cristina Bazaldua serves as the Community Affairs Director for Univision Communications Inc.-San Antonio and is the Media Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court. Cristina is highly involved in several non-profit organizations including the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women, Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, Urban Soccer League Academy (USLA), and the LSA Steering Committee Class 44, amongst others. She champions civic engagement and women empowerment initiatives, but her passion is fueled to improve access to higher education for minorities and underserved communities.

Cruz Ortiz
Arts and Culture Minister
Cruz Ortiz is an internationally renowned artist who runs and operates his own label, Burnt Nopal and Cruz Ortiz Art. Cruz will serve as the Arts and Culture Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court. He currently serves on the board for ARTPACE and supports RAICES, Eva’s Heroes, and San Antonio Cultural Arts. Cruz has made a commitment to ensure that all citizens should do everything possible to create success for all San Antonio youth. In his free time, Cruz enjoys fly fishing and cantina adventures with his wife, Olivia.

Meredith Alvarez
Historian Minister
Meredith Alvarez is the Founder and Creative Director of Bell Papel. She is the Historian Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court. Meredith has been involved with the Rey Feo Foundation for 3 years and is the VP of Fundraising for the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center Foundation as well. She believes that education is a paramount pillar of society and that every child deserves a right to it. When she’s not spending time with her 2 sons, she is a professional theatre actress.

Dennis Diem
Court Minister
Dennis Diem is the Modelo Marketing Brand Manager for Silver Eagle Distributors and the Court Minister for the Rey Feo 2020 court. He has been a Rey Feo Consejo since 2009 and is proud to be a part of a diverse group of community leaders with the same goal in mind to help raise awareness and funds for higher education. He is also involved in the Knights of Columbus and active in the Catholic ACTS community. He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, fishing, and playing poker with friends & family.
